The majority of the research projects in the Wesleyan Eye Movement and Reading Lab are conducted by undergraduate researchers. There are a number of ways to become involved in the laboratory such as for individual tutorial credit, as a work-study position, or as a volunteer.
If you are interested in staying at Wesleyan during the summer, there are also programs that fund research such as the Summer Science Research fellowship and the Quantitative Analysis Center.
Students who express interest in the lab, and whose interests are a good fit with the research being conducted, are accepted into it as openings become available.
Students who are interested in doing a Senior Honors Thesis in the EyeLab are expected to work in the laboratory prior to the start of their senior year.
